Depart for Italy
Depart Logan International Airport on an overnight flight to Italy (via an intermediate stop). Enjoy a delicious dinner on board with complimentary beverages followed by a relaxing movie, including free headsets.

Naples - Sorrento
Continental breakfast served on board the flight. Arrival at the airport in Naples where we will be met by our Tour Escort and transferred to the 4-star Hotel Michelangelo (or similar) in Sorrento. Pizza lunch at our hotel today is included. The remainder of the day is at our leisure to get acquainted with the hotel and our surroundings. An orientation meeting, with welcoming drink, this evening at our hotel prior to dinner.

Sorrento
After breakfast at our hotel, we will be hosted on a morning walk through the historical center of Sorrento, including a visit to the Museum of Correale which is situated in the 18th century palazzo at the east end of town, then we will be taken on a morning tour through the hillsides of Sorrento, where wild roses and camellias surround us. We will visit La Sorgente, a picturesque agricultural farm, belonging to the family Marciano which is nestled in the Sorrentine hills with a fabulous view of the city of Naples.. Sip on homemade wine, snack on crisp, tender Italian bread (topped with fresh tomato and a drizzle of olive oil), and sample the best homemade mozzarella one could imagine! We will experience a demonstration of making mozzarella the old fashioned way. We will return to the hotel for lunch. The afternoon is at leisure for optional tours. Dinner dance at a typical restaurant in the heart of Sorrento, with live Neapolitan music and dancing. Overnight at our hotel.

Isle of Capri
Today we will visit the beautiful Isle of Capri! Our full-day excursion includes a round trip ferry ride, lunch on Capri, and a guided tour. The town of Capri is very chic with shops, hotels, and restaurants lying along winding streets. The main square, Piazza Umberto, has a pretty white church and several open-air cafes where you can sit and watch the world go by. We’ll also visit the Augustus Gardens and their magnificent view over the Faraglioni Rocks. We will return to the hotel for dinner this evening.

Amalfi Drive
After breakfast at the hotel, we will be taken on an excursion along one of the most scenic roads in the world –The Amalfi Drive! Our first stop will be above Positano, one of Italy’s most famous and elegant resorts. We will then continue our drive through the ancient marine republic of Amalfi. There will be some free time to visit the beautiful Cathedral of St. Andrew, explore the town or browse and shop. Lunch will be in the town of Scala, and in the afternoon we’ll visit Ravello. Return to Sorrento for dinner and overnight.

Pompeii - Naples
Following breakfast, we will visit the "lost city" of Pompeii and its excavations. Lunch is in Pompeii. Afterwards, we will tour the city of Naples, visiting the commercial and military port, and the medieval castle, Castel dell’Ovo. Dinner and overnight.

Caserta - Monte Cassino
After breakfast, we are off to Caserta for a tour of the imposing Royal Palace (built by Charles IV to rival the Palace of Versailles) and the magnificent grounds and gardens. Lunch in Caserta. Then, drive to the famous hilltop Abbey of Monte Cassino, destroyed during one of the most brutal battles of WWII, and re-built in the 1950's. Back in Sorrento, dinner and overnight.

Sorrento
Breakfast at our hotel. The day is at complete leisure! Lunch at our hotel. We will visit a local restaurant for our special farewell evening meal, including live Neapolitan music. Overnight.

Depart for Home
After an early morning continental breakfast, we will be transferred to Naples Airport for our return flight to Boston (via an intermediate stop) with full meal and beverage service en route. Arrive back in Boston the same day.
