ITINERARY
Saturday - DAY 1: Arrive in Halifax at your leisure and check in at your hotel for one night. If you arrive early, you may wish to add a Gray Line Halifax City Tour.
Sunday - DAY 2: Experience the rustic charm of the famous fishing village of Peggy's Cove. Next, visit the UNESCO World Heritage Tour of Lunenburg where you have admission to the Fisheries Museum of the Atlantic. Travel across country to visit Champlain's Habitation, Canada's oldest permanent settlement. In Digby you will overnight at the Pines Resort over looking the Bay of Fundy – home of the world's highest tides. (Breakfast, Dinner) **July 5 departure may stay at the Old Orchard Inn, Wolfville.
Monday - DAY 3: Your journey takes you through the lush Annapolis Valley and on to Grand Pre where fact and fiction blend to reveal the romance or the Land of Evangeline. Continue past the communities of Truro and Amherst as you cross into New Brunswick, spending the night in the bilingual city of Moncton. (Breakfast)
Tuesday - DAY 4: Continue to Hopewell Rocks where you may walk on the ocean floor at low tide. Cross to Prince Edward Island on Confederation Bridge, the world's longest continuous multi-span bridge, and enjoy a delicious lobster supper (meat alternative available) before checking in to your Charlottetown accommodations for the next two nights. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Wednesday - DAY 5: Enjoy a free morning to explore Charlottetown before visiting Prince Edward Island National Park and “Green Gables” (Breakfast) **Arrivals in June, July, August and September (where scheduling permits) enjoy a bonus…this evening attend the musical “Anne” at the Charlottetown Festival (Included).
Thursday - DAY 6: Take the ferry to Nova Scotia, and continue to Cape Breton Island. Visit the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site in Baddeck. Spend two nights in Baddeck. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Friday - DAY 7: Cape Breton Highlands National Park is yours to discover today as you wind along the famous Cabot Trail. (Breakfast, Dinner)
Saturday - DAY 8: The Fortress of Louisbourg awaits you. Continue along the shores of Bras d'Or to the mainland. Your arrangements end today or extend your stay and add nights in Halifax. (Breakfast)
