ITINERARY
| Day 1 |
Arriving in Salt Lake City, our guided tour features the Mormon Temple and Tabernacle, the
Utah State Capitol, Fort Douglas, the Pioneer Trail State Park and "This is the Place"
Monument. Overnight lodging and our orientation “get-together” have been arranged at the
Shilo Inn Hotel, and a “welcome” dinner is served at the historic Lion House.

| Day 2 |
First we'll attend the weekly broadcast performance of the renowned Mormon Tabernacle
Choir. Next, heading for Idaho, we'll pass Bear Lake, then enter Wyoming. This afternoon,
we'll continue on to picturesque Jackson, where accommodations await at the 49’er Inn &
Suites. Dinner and Western entertainment are included here tonight at the Bar J
Chuckwagon.

| Day 3 |
Touring Grand Teton National Park, we’ll see Jackson and Jenny Lakes, the Chapel of the
Transfiguration, and the rugged, towering Tetons. Next, Yellowstone National Park offers
outstanding natural spectacles, geysers and thermal basins. We'll view Yellowstone Lake and
Old Faithful Geyser en route to two-nights at the Brandin’ Iron Inn, West Yellowstone,
Montana.

| Day 4 |
Our Yellowstone tour begins with the Norris Geyser Basin, filled with steam vents, mud pots,
geysers, and hot springs. Today we'll also explore Mammoth Hot Springs and thrill to the
awesome 1,200-foot-deep Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone from Inspiration and Lookout
Points. Dinner is served tonight at Bullwinkle’s Saloon and Eatery.

| Day 5 |
Featured today is Cody and the extensive Buffalo Bill Historical Center, containing memorabilia
of the famed showman, Indian artifacts, Western art, and historic firearms. In Hot Springs
State Park at Thermopolis, Wyoming, home of the world's largest hot springs, accommodations
and soothing hot mineral whirlpools await at the Holiday Inn of the Waters.

| Day 6 |
Our route today travels through Ten Sleep Canyon and the Big Horn Mountains, and features
Devil's Tower, America's first national monument. This gigantic volcanic extrusion towers 865
feet above its base. We'll arrive late this afternoon in Rapid City, South Dakota, heart of the
Black Hills, for a two-night stay at the Howard Johnson Inn & Suites, and tonight's sunset
lighting ceremony at Mount Rushmore National Memorial.

| Day 7 |
First is a daytime visit to Mount Rushmore, then we’ll see colossal Crazy Horse Memorial, the
world's largest statue, Later we'll ride the steam-powered "1880 Train” and tour Deadwood,
including Old Style Saloon #10, where Wild Bill Hickok was shot, the Mt. Moriah "Boot Hill,"
and tales of colorful Western characters. We'll also have dinner and time to try our luck in the
town's low-stakes casinos.

| Day 8 |
Returning to Wyoming, we'll visit Fort Laramie National Historic Site, once the most important
military post west of the Mississippi. Today's destination is the Drury Inn in the "Mile-High
City" of Denver, where a fun-filled "farewell" dinner has been planned at the popular Trail
Dust Steak House.

| Day 9 |
Our guided morning tour of Denver includes such sights as the Colorado State Capitol, the
U.S. Mint, the Denver Performing Arts Complex, Larimer Square, Coors Field, City Park,
Cherry Creek and residential areas. Connect with flights home this afternoon at Denver
International Airport.
