- To check with the Motor Carrier Division of the Nova Scotia Utility & Review Board and ask if the companies you are considering have any safety or maintenance violations. If so, how many and consider asking for copies of these violations before you travel.
- They have a 24 hour emergency number answered by a real person.
- They offer travel (medical and cancellation) insurance.
- They are in good standing and part of a professional worldwide network and brand name like Gray Line Worldwide, International Motorcoach Group or Travel Alliance Partners.
