The guys who take care of business! Of course, we all do that, but these people work mainly “behind the scenes” to make sure everything runs smoothly for you.

Dennis Campbell

President
Dennis is President of Ambassatours Gray Line. He went on his first tour at age 7, guided his first tour at age 14, and started Ambassatours at age 16 in the mid 80's. Dennis loves focusing on profitable growth and development for the company. He still enjoys guiding and driving tours from time to time as he is always learning of ways in which the company can improve and grow.

Leo Mroz, CMA

Vice President – Finance
Leo is the chief “money man” at Ambassatours. His official title is Vice-President – Finance and Administration. That means he supervises the financial, I.T. and administrative functions, as well as the management systems of the company.

Accountant
Alex is our accountant. He’s responsible for general accounting and preparation of financial statements, as well as supervising the accounting department.

Krista Doyle

Administrative Assistant
When it comes to administrative work, Krista runs a tight ship. Manning her desk, she takes care of answering telephones and transferring to the appropriate department, welcomes visiting customers, keeps our staff running smoothly and on their toes helping with assigned projects.

Reservations Department

Although you may never actually meet any of these people in person, each is the friendly voice you’ll hear on the phone when you call in for information or to book a trip. They handle the promotion, sales and booking of the company's products and services; provide you with travel information, itineraries and prices; counsel you on terms and conditions, book reservations, send out confirmation notices, process payments and refunds.

Reservations Manager
In addition to managing our reservations team and maintaining our reservations systems, Anita oversees all aspects of your booking experience from your initial contact with one of our agents, right up until you join your tour.

Born in Scotland, living in and loving Halifax for over 40 years, Robin would really like to help you choose and book your trip with Ambassatours. His favourite itineraries are our multi-day tours of Newfoundland and Labrador.

Our sales and tour team walks the walk and talks the talk. This gang knows Atlantic Canada like the back of their hands and are eager to share their wealth of information with you. Whether they're putting together a customized group tour in the Maritimes, keeping our Tour Directors in line or promoting our touring bragging rights, there’s always something going on in this department.

Richard Arnold

Director of Sales
Our Director of Sales, Richard, oversees the tour and charter sales for the company. He determines which programs to include in Ambassatours’ annual tour plan, and always makes sure that you get exactly what you need and want for your tour.

As "retired" past president of the company, Paul continues being very much involved in the organization with company wide sales and special projects. Additionally, he continues, as he began in the industry back in the 60's, as a seasonal tour director. Paul serves on the company's Board of Directors.

The Charter Sales Department has a strong voice, and his name is Sean Buckland, Charter Sales Representative and Resident Sommelier. With his acute marketing skills, Sean finds ways to increase sales and awareness of Ambassatours charter products. As for his knowledge of wine, you’ll have to ask him about that!

Linda Stackhouse

Operations Coordinator
As Sales Operations Coordinator, Linda ensures everything on your tour runs according to schedule so that you will get the most out of your time with us. In between the scheduling, briefing and payroll for our Tour Operations, she is responsible for the operations for our Outbound, Receptive, and Series Tours. This involves timing the tours and securing bookings for all of the elements you request: meals, sightseeing, and much more.

Charter Department

With 15 authentic British double-decker buses, 2 vans, 32 highway motorcoaches, a business class and executive motorcoach and a handful of mini buses, you can be sure that Ambassatours’ charter team is kept busy year-round. In addition to maintenance, driver training and charter bookings, there’s plenty more this department is responsible for.

Jack Smellie

Charter Manager
Jack keeps everything moving at Ambassatours. He is the manager of the vehicle charter and garage service facility, responsible for over 50 vehicles, as well as the drivers, dispatch and the maintenance of all vehicles.

Tim Marlin

Charter Supervisor
Tim is our Charter Department support system. As Charter Supervisor, he is responsible for assisting the Charter Manager in all aspects of running the department and supporting the drivers who are on the road.

Driver Trainer / Safety Officer
Your safety and comfort always come first at Ambassatours. Driver Trainer and Safety Officer, Robert ensures that all drivers are properly trained and evaluated on a yearly basis, and abide by all driving and company regulations, including our anti-idling and speeding policy.

Charter Customer Service Representative
Jason is responsible for your charter bookings and payment arrangements. As Charter Customer Service Representative, he is also the main contact for our large and very loyal customer account and coordinates payroll for all of our drivers.

There are many nuts and bolts hidden underneath the hood of our novelty bus fleet. Garage/Bus Mechanic, John sees that our 15 authentic British double deckers and 2 vans are all in good working order, to give you a smooth and safe drive.

Cruise & Sightseeing Department

The cruise and sightseeing department is run by people who go all out to make sure you have everything you need for a memorable tour and vacation in Atlantic Canada. They’ll add a little something special to your cruise vacation with a private shore excursion, or show you something unexpected with a sightseeing tour in your favourite area. Our team of sightseeing experts will hook you up with whatever you want to see and do.

Sightseeing & Cruise Manager
Andrea heads our Sightseeing & Cruise Department. While managing a dedicated team of Tour Guides, Pier Side Coordinators and Tour Sales Representatives, she also oversees all aspects of the planning and operation of sightseeing tours and cruise ship shore excursions.

Supervisor - Cruise Sales & Operations
If there’s a private group program or a shore excursion tailored to a specific cruise line, Yvette will find it for you. As Supervisor – Cruise Sales & Operations, she oversees all operations related to cruise ships arriving in ports throughout Nova Scotia.

Sightseeing Coordinator
Our sightseeing sales kiosk, located in front of the Maritime Museum in Halifax, Nova Scotia, is managed by our Sightseeing Coordinator, Tasha. Her responsibilities also include the planning and promoting of our tours and ensuring that everything runs smoothly for all guests.
