Day 1: Halifax, NS to Cavendish, PE
This morning, we meet our tour director and travelling companions as we depart for Canada’s smallest province – Prince Edward Island. See the red sandstone cliffs, white beaches, gently sloping sand dunes and green fields of Prince Edward Island National Park. Lucy Maud Montgomery describes the scenery in her “Anne of Green Gables” books. Visit the home of “Green Gables”, a Mecca for people from around the globe. Enjoy a delicious lobster dinner (meat alternative available) before settling in for the night.
Day 2: Cavendish to Cap-aux-Meules, QC
Briefly tour Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island’s capital city, before continuing to Souris where we will board the ferry to the magical Magdalen Islands. Relax during our five-hour journey to this unique part of Quebec. Spend the next two nights in the heart of Cap-aux-Meules. (Breakfast)
Day 3: Touring the Magdalen Islands
Today, take a boat tour of the calm waters of the Havre-aux-Maisons lagoon. See unique scenery enriched by the lagoon’s flora and fauna, as well as seals and many species of birds. Stop at Dune-du-Sud where red cliffs sculpted by the sea shelter this beautiful red sand beach. Don’t hesitate to explore the caves during low tide. A visit to Verrerie La Méduse is an unforgettable experience. Interpretive panels explain the glassblowing process, and from a viewing area the artisans can be seen at their craft. (Breakfast, Lunch)
Day 4: Touring the Magdalen Islands
During our visit to the Museum of the Sea, learn the importance of the sea to the Madelinots’ way of life through displays and artifacts. At the Aquarium of the Islands, come to observe and even touch wonderful live marine creatures and see two harp seals. Also visit La Grave - once a favourite meeting spot for fishing and commerce - is now home to many artisans and craftspeople. This evening, we will board the CTMA Vacancier for the next part of our adventure. Spend three nights on board the cruise ferry. (Breakfast)
Day 5: Arrive Chandler, QC – The Gaspesie Region
Wake up in the heart of the Gaspesie Region, renowned for its beautiful coastal scenery. Optional touring is available in the morning at an additional cost and may be purchased on-board. We depart around 12 noon, sailing near Bonaventure Island – a bird sanctuary for gannets, puffins, guillemots and cormorants - and Perce Rock. Many whales of different species are often seen in the waters near the Gaspé Coast. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 6: Arrive Quebec City, QC
Our journey continues along the mighty St. Lawrence River as we sail past Tadoussac, Saguenay Fjord, Manoir Richelieu, I’Ile aux Coudre, the Beaupre Coast, L’Ile d’Orleans and Montmorency Falls amongst many other well-known locations. Arrive in Quebec City – the only walled city in North America - around 12noon. Explore the cobblestone streets at your own pace or purchase an optional tour for an additional cost (on board purchase) (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
Day 7: Arrive Montreal, QC
Our cruise ferry adventure comes to an end with an early morning arrival in Montreal. Enjoy an included tour of Montreal – Canada’s most cosmopolitan city - before transferring to our hotel for the night. This evening is at your leisure. (Breakfast)
Day 8: Homeward Bound!
Transfer to the Montreal Airport for your flight home (not included).(Breakfast)

A $500 deposit per person is payable upon booking with the remaining balance due 45 days prior to departure.
In the event of cancellation, the following penalties will apply:
- More than 45 days prior to departure: deposit is retained.
- Between 45 and 31 days prior to departure: 50% of the total tour price will be retained.
- Between 30 days to day of departure and after departure: 100% of the total tour price will be retained.
Cancellation Insurance is available and strongly recommended.
