The journey can make all the difference for us on an event program. To be able to sell this level of service by Irwin is invaluable!"

I have had a lot of experience in the motorcoach industry as a past tour guide and I have to say, Irwin, you are one of the few best drivers I've ever come across. With a perfect balance of excellent driving, an easy personality and being just a down right good person, you made the trip so enjoyable and safe. Thank you."

Over the past few months, I have had the pleasure of collaborating with Chris Rose for the planning of our upcoming Atlantic Maritimes Self Drive Tour. This is the first time that my husband and I are vacationing in the Maritimes and Chris has gone over and above the call of duty to ensure that we have all of the information needed to make this a memorable vacation. I felt it was important to convey this information to you."

I was the team Slovakia team host during the recent world hockey event. Let me compliment our bus driver Ed who did a fantastic job busing us from place to place. He had certainly made team Slovakia's stay in Halifax so much more memorable. On many occasions he showcased true Nova Scotia hospitality and charm. Highlight of team Slovakia's stay was a trip to Peggy's Cove which he made a lot of fun and very educational. Many team members, including team GM Peter Bondra, were impressed with his knowledge and friendly outgoing attitude and witty commentary. Ed, you have made my job a lot easier knowing that you would always be on time to pick the team up and look after them. Many thanks."

Just thought I'd touch base to tell you that our bus driver, George, was fantastic for us this past weekend in Laval. If you could pass along my "thanks" that'd be greatly appreciated."

I just wanted to take the time to express how appreciative we were for all of your hard work to make our Bus trip to Fredericton for the National Wrestling Championships such a comfortable and great success! I especially wanted to personally acknowledge how impressed we were with David (our driver). As a coach, I have chartered buses, travelled on airlines, drove personal vehicles, etc for many years, This was the first time we used Ambassatours. In all my years of organizing these types of trips with big groups, I can honestly say that our experience with David as our lead, was one of my best experiences ever!
David was one of the most accomidating and freindly drivers that we ever had. He kept everyone safe and I know went over and above on his duties to ensure that we were comfortable. It was a very active weekend in Fredericton and Dave made things run very smooth with our timelines.
We look forward to working with your company in the future!! Ambassatours is now Number 1 on our list!!"

Please allow us the opportunity to thank and enlighten you regarding our May 16th Portland, ME shopping trip. Your compliment of staff, especially Jack Smellie, has once again provided the best service possible. We were pleased with the professionalism and always felt that we were dealing with a company where our business was appreciated.
We must tell you that your motor coach and driver exceeded our expectations! We felt that Mr. Smellie knew exactly what would work best for us, our guests; and he delivered.
We were so very fortunate to have the services of Mr. Dave Thomas as our driver. Dave was always a true gentleman, professional and accommodating. Most importantly, we knew we were in safe hands with him. We will be sure to request him for all our future trips.
Thank you from both of us and it has been a pleasure dealing with Ambassatours."

I just wanted to send you a quick note to tell you my clients Pulling and King are home from their Maritime trip and to say they are excited is an understatement. In their words, your tour was 110%! They loved everything, the itinerary, the food, the hotel, and their tour guide Donna. They are just "over the moon" thrilled with their Ambassatour experience and we can hardly wait to offer your tours to our clients in the future. It is so wonderful to know that our experience did not end after the great service I got from you Chris but carried right through to our valued client! Cheers and thanks to you all!"

On behalf of the Holland College second year class of the Tourism and Travel Management program I would like to extend profound thanks to you for organizing our Halifax city tour for us.
Our step-on guide, Gary Biddle, was very professional and courteous to us, as well as he was knowledgeable of the areas to which he took us. I must say that we all enjoyed our city tour, and the experience of having a tour guide talk to us on the motorcoach. Please relay our thanks to him.
Once again, thank you very much for playing such an instrumental part in making our tour a reality."

My name is Scott Mahar, whose son Ryan plays for the Moncton Atom AA Blackhawks that used your company's services on the weekend of March 14-16 2008 going to Bangor, Maine.
The reason for this email is to applaud your company for having Irwin Fraser as one of your employees. This was my first team bus trip since I was 16 years old and it brought back many great memories. Irwin is an outstanding gentleman who took the time and energy to make our trip to Bangor Maine a very memorable one for my family and everyone else on the team. He took the time to learn everyone’s name on the trip, which was only for 3 days, and to have the patience with our children who are mainly 10 years old takes a special person.
As you can well imagine having 48 passengers on the bus and half of them are excited kids, he was always pleasant and very accommodating to our every need. If I were a business owner, there is not a doubt in my mind that I would be honored to have Irwin as an employee. In saying this I’d like if you would pass this message on to Irwin that we think he’s a very special person who will always have a place on the 2007-8 Moncton Atom AA Blackhawks.
Tim, I’d also like to say that whenever we need the services or are asked for a recommendation of a bus company the name Ambassatours will be the one I’ll be telling people to hire. Thank you for you time."

I met some VERY VERY nice people - a couple that work as volunteers at the Halifax airport. After work they drove me to the shore town opposite Halifax and I took the ferry over and walked around for a couple of hours before taking the bus back to the airport for the flight to Iceland.
Interesting town, Halifax, but I was late so that many things were closed, but I got an idea.
Unfortunately I have forgotten the names of these good people at the airport but they said that they had been there for about seven years since they retired and they love to help people out.
THESE and others like them is what makes it worth travelling. A smiling face and a helping hand means so much.
These people should be commended and I hope that if you would ever have the chance to come across them (with minor research) that you give them my regards."

In my line of work I know that positive evaluations, lack of negative comments, etc. aren't enough to please management. But spontaneous, unsolicited praise from the customer may actually get noticed. I can only speak for myself but I think everyone on our tour had a wonderful time--I know that I did. So when merit raises are up for consideration, I would say that Paul Hinds and Robin Calder do a five star job for you guys! The glow of a good holiday helped carry me through the mess I had getting home. But I got out of Halifax to Toronto and then to Cleveland and was only late by 3 hours! So once again, thank you for a wonderful tour and holiday; I've never had a complaint about Gray Line."

Jack and I are back in Denver. We want to thank you and Ambassatours for a marvelous "Maritime Sampler" tour!
I don't know if you see the evaluation forms, so I will reiterate some of what we wrote.
Donna Williams is an excellent tour guide - friendly, professional, knowledgeable, patient, and fun to be with. She seemed to take care of all the details of our tour without our knowing it.
Wendy did an amazing job of driving the bus. She was fun to be with also.
Robert drove Jack and me back to Halifax after taking the ferry to Nova Scotia on Thursday. It was easy to talk and be with him.
The other people on the tour were very nice and companionable. It was an extra treat to be with travelers from Canada, England, Scotland, Germany and Australia, as well as the US.
The accommodations were very comfortable.
The food was delicious and memorable! We are both trying to lose the weight gained on our trip.
The sites that we visited were all interesting and worthwhile.
Halifax was impressive and offered many options for our extra site seeing time.
We would certainly recommend Ambassatours to anyone planning a visit to Canada."

Ma Cher,
I will inform my travel agent, Mrs Wallace again, of the tremendous service that the staff of Ambassatours has offered me in this personal oversight. At home, I have become accustomed to being greeted with a blank look and a shrug when I come back to a business to return to some previously discussed matter. That condition exists here in the West because it is often the second day or the second hour that the person has been on the job. Often, the supervisor has only twice as much experience.
I have been conditioned to believing that my camera would have been lost, forever. What a pleasant surprise to find a group of four employees who could act above and beyond the call of duty to make an old guy's experience most memorable. This is a story that I will tell while sitting around the campfire, for many years. There will be skepticism, but I will swear to the truth of its origins.
I plan to sew the bit of tartan you sent me onto my camera case as a caution. In the future, I may not receive such generous consideration under similar circumstances. Again, several thanks. Oh, the fourth person is the nice lady to whom I spoke when I was directed to phone your office. It was a call to the reservations number on a Saturday morning, a couple of weeks ago."

I would like to comment on the Bus Tour my group took in July 2008. A group of Dragon Boat Paddlers from Calgary came to Nova Scotia to compete in the Race Festivals in Sydney and in Dartmouth. Our coach driver Art Hannaford, was unbelievable, courteous, efficient and very thoughtful and accommodating to the 29 women on your coach. "Love bug" as he was lovingly named, was the bus driver extraordinaire , thank you Art for making our trip enjoyable and safe."

Hi Ivy... we are lately returned from our Newfoundland vacation and wanted to provide some feedback on the section of our holiday that we sourced via Maxxim Vacations. This was the Ambassatours Viking Trail Tour - we joined the tour in Corner Brook on July 20th and left it 6 days later at Deer Lake on July 25th.
We had a wonderful time and the arrangements worked perfectly - thanks very much for arranging it! We had a marvelous time and very much enjoyed seeing the sights on the Great Northern Peninsula and in Labrador. I also want to specifically commend Ambassatours for their professionalism in arranging and conducting the tour. In particular, the Tour Director Paul Emmons and Bus Driver Nina did a lot to make the experience memorable. They were thoroughly competent, professional in approach and comportment and managed expectations perfectly.
The only negative aspect was my experience with the Great Viking Feast in St Anthony. I would not recommend this to anyone: the locale was not very clean, air was rank with cooking smells, the seating was claustrophobic, and the theatre part was antagonistic. I walked out of the event because I simply could not stand being shouted at and hectored by the players. It was not fun.
We will certainly recommend Maxxim Vacations and Ambassatours to anyone thinking about a vacation in Newfoundland. I look forward to contacting you for help in arranging our 2009 Vacation!
Thanks again for your work on our behalf."

We just returned from the Foxwoods Casino Trip and it was a great trip. The tour director was Donna Williams and the driver was Graham Fralic , you could not find any better than these two employees. Last year the tour director did nothing on the trip which made it very long and tiring and discouraged some of the passengers for coming again this year. This is a great trip and I feel if we could recommend these two persons to be the employees for the trip next year we could talk some of the persons who came last year ,who were disappointed, to try it again. We always take side trips New York was a great day-although it was long we enjoyed it. All of the passengers on the bus discussed side trips and it was recommended by all that a trip to Providence -as there is good tourist areas there and well as perhaps a day trip over to the Mohegian Sun Casino..Both of these are within closer distance to the Two Trees Inn. I realize it is difficult for you to advise persons who are interested in the trip who the tour director and driver will be but I feel if you could it would make a difference in the numbers. Ambassatours is a great tour company and hopefully my suggestions will be addressed. Once Again Thanks for a GREAT TRIP, looking forward to next year."

We just came back from a trip with ambassatours and it was wonderful. We booked through Marlin Travel in Brandon Mb. This was close to us as we live in North Dakota USA. First of all we were so lucky to have a Tour Director like Lisa, and also a driver like Bob. We were in Labrador and Newfoundland where driving conditions are not the easiest and Bob did an excellent job. As for Lisa she was outstanding. She loves her job and it showed. She was so good to us and her knowledge of the area was superb. She knew all of our names the second day out and with no name tags. We just wanted to say thank you and let you know the outstanding job Lisa and Bob did."

First I’d like to thank you for the bus you provided for our recent trip to Montreal / Ottawa. The team really appreciated the added amenities. I also just wanted to send along my compliments for the bus driver that stayed with us for our trip. His name was Bob??, same guy we had with us to SFX on Oct 29th. He was absolutely excellent, very courteous to us all, extremely helpful loading all of our equipment on and off the bus 1-2 times a day, and just a great personality overall. The girls really enjoyed having him, as did I and the other staff members. He handled the bus extremely well too, and dealt with the few mechanical/technical problems with the bus easily, without any disturbance or delay to the team. I was very impressed. He seemed well prepared before each outing to get us where we needed to go without getting lost, a huge improvement over our last driver 2 years ago. I understand he usually doesn’t drive for you in the winter, as he switches over to drive the snowplows, etc., but I want to request him as our driver whenever and wherever possible. We don’t have our next road trip until January 17/18th, hopefully he is available? Thanks again for everything Janet."
