Day 1: Fly to Dublin

Fly on your own overnight to Dublin, Ireland (not included).

Day 2: Dublin

After arriving we drive through Dublin and visit The Guinness Storehouse, located in the heart of the Guinness Brewery. The highlight of the visit is a pint of Guinness in the Gravity Bar with a magnificent view of this 1000 year old city. We check into our hotel and have time to rest. Before our included dinner we enjoy a welcome drink.  (Dinner)

Day 3: Dublin

After breakfast we enjoy a panoramic drive around the major sites. We visit Trinity College where we see the incredible Book of Kells. This is one of Ireland’s dearest treasures. We visit St Patrick’s Cathedral. The rest of the afternoon is free to explore on our own. This evening we enjoy a Traditional Irish dinner with entertainment at the Merry Ploughboys.  (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 4: Waterford

We travel through the beautiful Wicklow Mountains and visit Glendalough, the ruins of a beautiful 6th Century monastery. After lunch on our own, we continue the journey to Waterford and along the way visit the Famine Ship Dunbrody.  (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 5: Killarney

Traveling west, we stop in Midleton Distillery before traveling on to Blarney Woolen Mills for shopping and the Blarney Castle for a chance to kiss the Blarney Stone. After lunch on our own, we continue on to Killarney where we stay 3 nights. (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 6: Killarney

After a full Irish breakfast we travel out around the “Ring of Kerry”. The roads are narrow and the views so spectacular the journey will be a memorable one. We enjoy many photo stops along the way. After our included dinner we can stroll the quaint streets of Killarney or perhaps enjoy some traditional music at a pub.  (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 7: Killarney

This morning, we meet our Jarvey for a horse and jaunting car ride through Killarney National Park. Then we board our motorcoach for our journey out onto the Dingle Peninsula. We explore the incredible beauty of the Dingle and return to Killarney later this afternoon The rest of the day is free to explore Killarney on our own.  (Breakfast)

Day 8: Bunratty

We depart and travel to the picture postcard village of Adare, which is one of Ireland’s special places, with thatched roof cottages and Tudor style houses, beautiful gardens and ivy clad medieval churches in beautiful surroundings on both sides of the street beside the river Maigue. We visit Bunratty Castle and Folk Park. This 11th-century castle has been restored to its former medieval glory. In the surrounding area is a folk park where we can see people working as they would have in the 1800’s. We enjoy a Medieval banquet and entertainment this evening.  (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 9: Straffen

Today we drive through the rolling midlands of Ireland to County Kildare. Here we visit The Irish National Stud Farm and Japanese Gardens. The Farm is home to some of the most beautiful horses in Ireland. The Gardens, planned to symbolize the ‘Life of Man’, are now of international renown and are acclaimed as the finest Japanese Gardens in Europe. A special treat awaits us as we overnight at Barbarstown Castle. Built in the 13th Century, it is a 4 Star Castle hotel. All the bedrooms are elegantly and luxuriously appointed, laden with antique furniture.  (Breakfast, Dinner)

Day 10: Home

We transfer to the Dublin airport and our flight home (not included).  (Breakfast)

A $600 deposit per person is payable upon booking with the remaining balance due 90 days prior to departure.

In the event of cancellation, the following penalties will apply:

- More than 66 days prior to departure: deposit is retained to a maximum of 20% of the total tour price.

- Between 65 days to day of departure and after departure: 100% of the total tour price will be retained.
