Wines on the Water
Tidal Bay Cruise
Finding Inspiration in Every Turn
Celebrating Tidal Bay
Officially launched in June 2012, Tidal Bay is the first wine appellation for Nova Scotia and one-of-a-kind for North America. A racy, aromatic white wine, it displays the Nova Scotian characteristics of our cool climate region and pairs flawlessly with the local seafood we're known for. The name Tidal Bay was inspired by the influence of the sea and being home to the biggest Tidal changes in the world.
On Friday, June 3, 2022 from 6pm to 8pm, Ambassatours Gray Line will proudly host the Wines on the Water Tidal Bay Cruise aboard the Tall Ship Silva. We can't think of a better way to enjoy Tidal Bay than while sailing the waters on the Atlantic Ocean. During this 2-hour cruise, a local Sommelier will guide guests through a four-course Tidal Bay wine tasting, each wine paired with a tasting item prepared by our culinary team. The cruise will be highlighted by the musical stylings provided by our resident fiddler and guitar player, without whom it would not be a true Nova Scotian Experience.
This tour boards at Cable Wharf, 1751 Lower Water Street, Halifax.
