On a foggy day in Halifax, August 9, 2019, Halifax MP Andy Fillmore announced that the federal government, along with the Provincial Government, would invest funds to help build the infrastructure to allow for public access to Georges Island National Historic Site (Georges Island). Fast forward to 2024 when we, Amabssatours Gray Line, will celebrate our fifth season of providing ferry service to Georges Island, transporting locals and guests to this no longer "hidden gem" of our amazing city. Whether you have yet to visit Georges Island, or you’re considering visiting again, here are ten reasons (plus a BONUS reason) why Georges Island should be at the top of your must-visit list this year.

Georges Island School Days will take place on Tuesday, June 18, 2024, and Wednesday, June 19, 2024, between 9:30am and 2pm.
