Where to find and book some of the best Things to do in Halifax

You’ve planned, you’ve done the research, and you’ve officially decided to take the trip to Halifax, Nova Scotia's largest city, provincial capital and cultural hub. Let us be the first to congratulate you on your decision – Halifax is a wonderful place to visit (and for us locals, a wonderful place to live).

If you’ve decided on booking a tour or experience with us (you can view those tours and experiences here), you’ll find it easy to book via the Book Now or Check Ticket Availability links on our website. This link directs you to our third-party booking system called Starboard Suite.

If you are, however, more of a spontaneous traveller and prefer to follow you own path, you will likely book your things to do when it works for you. You’ll be happy to know that you can easily book any of our available tours and experiences on our website – ambassatours.com - or by calling us at 902 420-1015.

You can also book in person at any one of our three waterfront Tour Ticket Centres, each conveniently located along or near the Halifax Waterfront:

Tour Ticket Centre One

Location: Located near the Salt Yard - 1549 Lower Water Street. Look for the light blue coloured building with the Harbour Hopper Tours sign on the roof, Gray Line diamond on the outside.

What’s inside? Not only will you be able to book our tours and experiences but also shop our souvenirs, gifts and cold refreshments. That and friendly staff.

What else? This is the closest Tour Ticket Centre to the Harbour Hopper Tour departure location – it's about a 15-second walk. It’s also close to parking lots and many quick service dining options.

The "Lighthouse" is located in the Salt Yard

Tour Ticket Centre Two

Location: Located beside the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic - 1670 Lower Water Street. Look for the brightly coloured orange building with the Halifax Experience Pass logo on the side!

What’s inside? Book our tours and experiences and purchase cold refreshments – plus friendly staff.

What else? This is the departure point for our Peggy’s Cove Tour, Lunenburg Tour and Wine Enthusiast Tour. It’s also a stop of the Hop On Hop Off City Tour!

The "Station" is located on Lower Water Street

Tour Ticket Centre Three

Location: Located beside The Cable Wharf - 1751 Lower Water Street. Look for Cows (the ice-cream shop) - we’re right beside them.

What’s inside? Book our tours and experiences and purchase cold refreshments from this, our tiniest and newest location – and yes, friendly staff!

What else? This is the closest departure point to tours and experiences on Tall Ship Silva, Harbour Queen and Kawartha Spirit – which delivers guests to and from Georges Island National Historic Site. It’s also close to many restaurants, the Halifax Ferry Terminal and Stop 10 of the Hop On Hop Off City Tour.

Cable Wharf is located at - the Cable Wharf (of course)
